Producers Guild Of India Organises Vaccination Drive For Their Members; President Siddharth Roy Kapur Is Elated ‘To Provide This Facility To Members’
With the high number of positive cases of COVID-19, more and more people are relying on the vaccines as that’s the only solution to curb the spread and can help fight the pandemic. Having said that, the Producers Guild Of India have now started a vaccination drive at Mehboob Studios for their members and crews. An official statement was released by president Siddharth Roy Kapur. According to a statement, the premier association of the leading Indian film, television and digital content producers will launch a vaccination drive for their members and associated productions crews that will be held at Mehboob Studios, starting from June 1, 2021.

Expressing appreciation for the many contributions that enabled this camp, Siddharth Roy Kapur, President of the Producers Guild of India, said, “An activity of such importance and magnitude cannot be carried out singlehandedly and we are extremely grateful for the support we have received to make this possible.” While announcing the same, in the statement, Kapur even expressed gratitude towards Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment for securing the vaccines and Mehboob productions. 

“In particular from our members Excel Entertainment who played a pivotal role in securing the vaccines and Mehboob productions who every generously offered complimentary use of the spacious Mehboob Studios. We are happy that we are able to provide this facility to our members, their employees and the cast and crew of their productions as we work to get the industry back on its feet again in the weeks ahead,” the statement further read.
